Sales/General - Durban | Cape Town | Johannesburg

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Ensure customer’s needs are met i.e., answering queries, quoting, taking orders, accepting payment, dispatch, after sales satisfaction & requesting feedback
  • Marketing (adverts online); Cold calling & repping for new customers
  • Meet and exceed all individual and team performance targets
  • Maintain & grow product knowledge and gather information on local market
  • Compliance of policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards & management direction.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding customer concerns and employee matters
  • Fulfill support functions to keep store operational by assisting supervisor & colleagues with stock control (inc. receive & dispatch), maintenance of company assets, store upkeep and general administration, if/when required
  • Liaise with other branches/head office to fulfill business, communication & national coverage requirements & obligations
  • Driving - deliveries and errands if required

 Minimum Requirements

  • Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50%
  • Driver’s license with experience and no outstanding fines
  • Computer literacy & strong verbal and written communication skills on all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills on all levels
  • Professional, organised, neat & diligent and able to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, goal driven, committed and growth orientated

The following is a plus

  • Experience in the motor parts industry / basic knowledge of engines
  • Experience in sales
  • Bilingual
  • Tertiary education

 Aspects to consider before you apply

  • You must be willing to get your hands dirty and be able to handle parts that may weigh from 1kg up to 40kg.
  • Should you be successful you will need to provide a police clearance certificate or apply for one
  • Salary depends on experience, includes a basic plus commission and provident fund. What you put in is what you get out. We are willing to take on an individual who has no prior experience in the motor parts industry, but willing to learn


Driver/General - Durban | Johannesburg

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Ensure correct items are delivered as arranged and according to schedule and in excellent condition (including loading & unloading)
  • Errands completed as required
  • Maintains a safe driving & working environment, ensure vehicles are clean & maintained
  • Meet and exceed all performance targets
  • Maintain & grow product knowledge and gather information on local market
  • Maintain good interaction/relationship with customers & get feedback
  • Compliance of policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards & management direction including all fleet, safety & vehicle policies such as maintenance and cleanliness
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding customer concerns and employee matters
  • Fulfill support functions to keep store operational by assisting supervisor & colleagues with stock control (inc. receive & dispatch), maintenance of company assets, store upkeep and general administration, if/when required
  • Provide support and assist supervisor and colleagues in keeping the store operational
  • Answer customer enquiries by phone, electronically or in person, provide aftersales & customer service, if required

 Minimum Requirements

  • Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50%
  • Driver’s license and no outstanding fines, minimum 2 years driving experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills on all levels
  • Professional, organised, neat & diligent and able to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, goal driven, committed and growth orientated
  • CV with traceable references, no job hopping

 The following is a plus
